All for Peace

This painting was made specially for the charitable show called “Human Rights”, at the Romanian Palace of the Parliament (People’s House). This happened between the 27th of May and 3rd of June 2025, as a collaboration between Red Cross Romania and Arhiva de Arta, that intended to raise attention about the need for peace, harmony and unity.
The solution: everyone and everything for peace, everywhere.

The peace symbol was shaped out of 3D white encaustic paint. The background image that is covered with transparent encaustic is a watercolor and ink painting on canvas on chassis.
The blue planet is surrounded and protected by majestic trees, grounded in the center of the Earth. Each “leaf” has been painted in detail as a feather, that represent attitudes, actions, people, intentions and wishes based on love, trust, respect, truth and unity.
We are all one big family, with the same core needs, like safety, equality in rights and belonging.
We can only make peace through peace.
