To be sad means to feel blue?
I don’t believe that’s completely true.
When I see the sky, I do smile,
As I do when I see the sea shine.
I do now choose and really know
That life is a joyous show.
With progress meant as part of the purpose,
That becomes obvious when we choose where to focus.
I know now that the only chance
Is to be positive at every glance.
If we rely on the Love that we are,
We can see the intentions as of a Star.
To be clear, honest and true
Just like the sky, that is so blue.

”To feel blue” means to feel sad, melancholic, nostalgic. The title “Another Shade of Blue” is inspired from the organic, natural, unpremeditated apparition of a detailed human face laughing out loud on the upper part of the painting. Also, other several human silhouettes can be observed all over the image.
The painting has been created on canvas on chassis, using watercolors, gouaches, markers, pencils etc., but also patience and meticulosity. The top layer is made out of transparent encaustic, with a discreet organic texture to it.
