Find the dolphin. One of many unpremeditated, organic and natural apparitions, this shape is an obvious one in the abstract image created using various painting mediums (gouaches, watercolors, markers) on a canvas on chassis.
An encouragement to a closer observation of this playful and expressive painting. The dolphin is not the only shape that could be recognized.
The final image is a result of an intuitive, fluid and detached (in regard to the possible results) experience, but also of several stages of thorough highlight of the contrasts and details.
The uniform top layer is made out of transparent encaustic, which gives the image a special depth and a gentle texture, a durable and slightly shiny finish.
