Pachamama

  Pachamama is the name used by indigenous people of the Andes for Mother Earth. This doesn’t name just the Earth, but the entire Universe, time and space (“Pacha” means world/ time/ space). In other words, this is another name for God, for All that Is.

  The constant interconnectivity, the true lack of separation between us and nature (on both micro and macro levels) is the concept la this painting is based on and the sustained held intention through the entire process.  

  This painting was made with encaustic paint, pastel and ink, on a canvas on chassis.
