That the Creation doesn’t need a shrine.

A marvelous development without the word “never”.
As no mistake was ever done,
Afterall, we and the planet are one.

The title is based on the concept of nourishing the body by starring at the sun, at sunrise or sunset, consciously practiced by some people. I personally believe that any life form on this planet finds nourishment, conscious or unconscious, in sunlight. This is a common and indispensable factor for life on Earth.
This painting has been created on a canvas on chassis using various water-soluble mediums (watercolors, gouaches, pencils, inks, markers). It also has an uniform layer of transparent encaustic and 3D golden encaustic shapes on the bottom left side, as a frame that accentuates the round shape of the sun, the central element of the painting.
It is a complex image, with a lot of details that keep appearing as it is observed. Plant elements, birds, feathers, fish (one can see also a dolphin at the bottom), jellyfish etc. Alongside laced organic shapes they make a sun image, visually representing the idea that each particle or organism is an expression of nature, connected and coherent, perfect and intelligent. Earth is not our planet; we are made out of Earth.
