Figurative Encaustic Mixed Media
The underpaintings have been created with various painting mediums (such as watercolors, gouaches, inks, pencils, markers, pastels etc.). The images are meticulous detailed, sometimes surprising by their complexity.
The top layers are made out of transparent encaustic and in some cases I have applied also colored encaustic 3D shapes, sculpted if necessary.
The abstract paintings of this category show objects, beings and landscapes in a recognizable, obvious manner, in fantastical or symbolic settings.
